The Hospitality Industry covers a wide range of careers from Hotel Reception through to Event Organising.  It is an industry that employs a high number of young staff but where skills are in short supply.

Foundation Learning

 

If you are thinking about a career in Hospitality but do not know where to start a Level 1 Award in Introduction to Employment in the Hospitality Industry is a great place to start.  You will learn about career opportunities available, develop your personal skills required and learn the principles of good customer service.

 

Level One - Hospitality

 

A Level One Certificate will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of the importance of good customer service as well as learning the practical skills required in Hospitality.

This can lead you into opportunities in Accommodation Services, Food and Beverage Services, Food Preparation and Cooking* and Hospitality Services. 

 

Level Two - Hospitality

 

A Level Two Diploma in Hospitality is for you if you are in full time employment or progressing from Level One to a Level Two QCF.  It offers you a flexible approach to tailor your qualification to your needs with pathways available in Front of House Reception, Food Beverage Service and Professional Cookery*. 

 

A Diploma in Hospitality can provide you with the knowledge to back up your skills allowing you to progress upwards on your chosen career ladder.

 

Hospitality Apprenticeships

 

Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining qualifications and workplace experience.  As an employee you can earn as you learn whilst you gain practical skills, confdence and knowledge from the workplace.

 

A Hospitality Apprenticeship is suitable to you if you are wishing to pursue and progress in a successful and rewarding career in the hospitality industry.
