Is Customer Service for me?

The Customer Service qualification is suitable for all types of work roles.  Whatever your working role you are generally delivering some kind of customer service.  You could be working in retail, an office or a hairdressers.  The skills that you learn through customer service are invaluable.

 

You will learn how to handle situations and understand what is required for your particular industry.  Customers always expect good service.

 

Some areas you will cover are :

 

  • Understanding the rules and regulations for delivering the service to customers
  • How to maintain a positive and customer friendly attitude
  • Recognise queries, requests and problems and deal with them accordingly and in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with all types of customers and adapt your behaviour as necessary

JACE Learning Platform

JACE has an e-learning application the JACE Learning Platform (JLP) which is a further learning tool for you to make use of.  You will be able to complete parts of your training using this online programme and liaise direct with your tutor/assessor.  You can communicate through the JLP if you have any questions or need any additional support.  This could help to speed up your progress through your Customer Service course.
